Since 1991, Weldex has gained a national & international reputation for its competence in welding of exotic and difficult to weld materials. Weldex now has well over 300 welding procedures.

In 2005 Weldex completed a major on site tooling modification programme for Airbus, and in 2006 designed, built and installed a massive phosphor bronze cone as part of the Time & Space project, on the south bank of the Thames, for the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London. This is one of the largest and most prestigious architectural projects of its type in recent times.

Weldex also carries out reclamation programmes of mission critical components for power stations, process plants, refineries and oil production platforms.

Weldex offers TIG/MIG/ Synergic MIG/MMA and FCAW. Weldex is constantly investigating other welding processes as part of its investment plan, and is always pleased to hear of customer's requirements for processes not listed above.

Precision fabrication of components for aerospace structures, power generation equipment, and high pressure pumps for the oil & gas industry are among the many high value components and systems fabricated at Weldex on a daily basis.

Welding consultancy forms part of the Weldex service: nearly two decades of experience and a vast store of weld procedures are an invaluable resource available to our customers. Examples include working with customers to write weld procedures for their processes; and on site consultancy in a power station in Egypt.
